| August 2002 I rode in Fort Nelson
area with Frank Ardendale, he and his wife Gail own a bed and breakfast
with a riding stable, near Fort Nelson. Frank knows a lot of stories and
jokes, he kept me laughing all the time we were there. I sure had a good
time. I also rode in Watson Lake Sign forest, up and down all the rows. We now have a sign posted in the Sign forest. The sign forest covers about one acre. Construction workers on the Alaskan Highway in 1942 started nailing up signs with their names and where they were from on them. Today there are over 50,000 signs (our journal will have pictures) we had a professional paint a sign saying Randy and Mary Ellen Davisson and appaloosa horse Eli Whitney 2002 Oxford, Michigan. Watch for it when you are up there.
