August 2001 Very hot about 110 degrees during the day. I rode early in the morning in Cuivre River State Park. Nice wooded trails. Two overlooks are high rock bluffs over looking farmland several hundred feet below. Headed for home. Drove 839 miles, took two -15 minute naps, and one 2-hr nap; it took 20 hours. I didn't want to stop because of the heat. I wanted to get Eli home.
