| August 2003 The ferry going from
Nova Scotia to Newfoundland was 100 miles and it takes 6 hours one way.
The ferry is so large it can carry 120 - 18-wheelers at one time. I road
at a riding stable owned by Kevin and Ruth Story near Reidville. Picture
taken at the welcome center 2-3 mile after you get off the boat. Sharon
Mac Dougall made the arrangements for us to meet stay and ride. Sharon knew
about Ruth from an article Ruth had written in one of the horse magazines.
