August 2000 I stayed at Joe and Jeannie Leisek. They raise Paso Fino horses on their valley ranch, on the east side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. They live a few miles north of historic Carson City. Joe and I went riding in Davis County Park, just south of Reno. In 2002 we took pictures at Reno Livestock Events Center.

Pahrump, Nevada- picture taken on way back from Hawaii May 2005

Pahrump, is in the middle of the desert 50 miles west of Las Vegas. A friend's father and mother lived there a long time, that's how we knew about it. We stayed at the rodeo grounds the night before we took the picture.
